Dr. Pinson graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, Monterrery Mexico. His Anesthesiology Residency was completed at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas with an Advanced Clinical Tract. He then attended the nationally-recognized Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Texas at San Antonio under world-renowned expert and one of the founding fathers of Interventional Pain Management, Dr. Somayaji Ramamurthy.
Dr. Pinson has participated in over 20 nationally funded clinical trials and has over 18 years of experience in the field of Pain Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Interventional Headache Society and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is currently board certified by the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Board of Anesthesiology, and is one of only five physicians in Tennessee to be board certified by the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians.
